The EAMS includes scientific mining organizations of the following countries: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan and the Balkan countries.
It is an independent, international, self-governing, professional, scientific, creative, public organization.
One of the important goals is to promote the improvement and development of the mining complexes of the EAMS member countries.
The Eurasian Academy of Mining Sciences is an independent, self-governing, professional, scientific, creative public organization that unites leading scientists and specialists of the founding countries of the Academy in the field of mining, geology, development of equipment and technology for the extraction and processing of solid, liquid and gaseous minerals, design, construction and operation of mining enterprises, mining ecology, mining law, economics and management.
The place of registration and the headquarters of the Academy was adopted
by the city of Astana (currently - the city of Nursultan).
Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan was elected President of the Eurasian Academy of Mining Sciences.

Eurasian Academy of Mining Sciences (EAMS) - is an association of leading scientists
and specialists in the fields of mining, geology, petroleum, and non-metallic minerals
development. Since creation, EAMS has developed international collaboration between
Academies of Mining Sciences and Mining Community of the Eurasian continent. At a general
meeting in 2019, the EAMS decided to work towards transforming the Eurasian Academy of
Mining Sciences into a Worldwide Academy of Mining Sciences, involving scientists and
